Pushcart nomination for “Yes, Bye, Where?”

This essay, published in the remarkable Under the Sun literary journal earlier this year, is a perfect example of inspiration meeting perspiration: the underlying spark of an event that held within it all the confounding realities of raising my disabled daughter, expressed in storytelling informed by craft classes, workshops, and the gracious and gifted support of my writing group.

I’m thrilled at the resonance my words are finding out in the world, and excited to announce my essay’s nomination for the Pushcart Prize.
